Welcome to the Chelsea Therapy Room

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious? Would you like to find a warm supportive person to talk to? We have individual counsellors trained to support you. If you have relationship or sexual issues we have couple counsellors and psychosexual therapists. We also have a sports masseur for any physical or relaxation needs.

Our practice was set up to create a welcoming environment for people to find counsellors and massage practitioners. Our therapists are trained in many different therapeutic approaches and we may have someone who can suit your needs.

I offer counselling, psychotherapy and psychosexual therapy in Central London and Kent, which includes working with individuals and couples offering short or long-term therapy, I also work in primary care and with a charity. I have been working with clients for over ten years and I am a Bupa recognised therapist.

Cate

Cate Mackenzie is a Psychosexual Therapist, Love Coach and Couples Counsellor.  I offer a warm and empathic space to help individuals and couples work with relationship and sexual issues. As a coach and therapist I can create a step-by-step process to support people to work on their goals. This works alongside an understanding of the needs of each client and how they may need to rebuild their confidence. I have a deep knowledge of different psychotherapeutic methods, Rosen Bodywork therapy, person centred expressive therapy, meditation, This understanding helps me to support the client/s to address any difficulties that maybe preventing them from achieving what they want and help facilitate the desired changes. Maureen

 

Maureen Mahony is a BACP accredited Integrative counsellor, working with Person Centred, Psychodynamic and Existential theories. These three theories allow me versatility to adapt my approach in order to achieve a beneficial outcome for my client.

I have been counselling for the last 16 years working with individuals and couples in my independent practice and in a voluntary capacity. In addition, I draw on a further 25 years of experience working in social care and youth and community.

Working in partnership with my client/s at their own pace to support them in developing the tools to cope with life’s issues.
